Mostly they display association; identifying with that band or artist, place, event or cause. This all seems rather empowering – or – is it just an easy way to avoid a dress-shirt? Both. So why make a book? Essentially T-shirts are ephemeral, and over the years I’ve sent many a great print to the rag-bag. So make a book. OK.”
